How was you measuring? I think Opti was using accurate equipment, which is why its an interesting (to me) thread.

Using a stopwatch and speedo, my MV6 managed 7.1s on the flat. I'd love to get it on accurate equipment to see how accurate/inaccurate that was...

Its not really accurate doing it that way. Which is, incidentally, how I did it (only used a stopwatch, as the CID lacks one).

Be interesting to see what mine gives on accurate equipment, so we know how accurate (or not!) the stopwatch method is.

I was consistently around 7.1-7.3, to 60 on the speedo, on petrol.

That would put it at about the 8 second mark to an actual 60mph rather than the imaginary one :y

I guess yours is correct .. mine did between 7.8 - 8.0 but also I cant be sure about roads inclination and thats 0-100 km/hr
