What's the law

As you know my Mv6 failed its Mot yesterday on a knackered NSF spring :'(  I have 10 days to sort this out guys. What are the rules driving said vehicle after failed Mot. Ie.can I, won't this invalidate the insurance :-X

Technically you are driving an unroadworthy vehicle if a spring is broken :-X

When does your MOT run out?, is that what the 10 days your talking about, the way I see it, if its Mot'd online, check it, then its Mot'd, thats not say whether I would choose to drive it or not.

It still has the old MOT in force, so it's legal to drive it.

It has a known fault that may make it unsafe to drive (depends on the extent of the damage, IMHO). If it's just a little bit of the pigtail at the end of the spring missing, I'd chance it. If it's dropped 40mm on one side, I wouldn't.

You may have been driving on that broken spring for a while, and it's no worse now. You are knowingly driving a vehicle with a fault now, though, so if you have another vehicle, it'd be silly to risk it, IMHO.

Cheers Kevin. Your observations are 100%. Mate. It has a noticeable slump. I won't risk it, any event, don't think Insurance would be saying, Oh Yes :y
