hi guys, 

i fancy some brighter bulbs but there are so many would be glad of some help as to weather these will fit okay or a link to some orsan nightbreakers that definately will. here are the specs of the one i have seen.

type. orsan nitebreaker plus.

fitment. h7-477/499.

12v.

55w.

part no.64210nbp.

I was also thinking about fitting some of those. They look good. Be interesting what the other members say about them.

they do look great. but there so many its confusing well it is for me any way. i just want to be sure they will fit before i order. nothing worse than ge :'(tining the wrong part is there.

Osram & Philips were both OE fitment and you can't go wrong with them. If it says "orsan" on the lamps you are looking at then I would assume they were a knock off copy. :-\

I have them on mine, and they do make a 'noticeable' improvement over standard bulbs. Life expectancy varys although mine have been in 2 years (touch wood)  :)

Got Osram Nightbreaker+ ones in my 2.2, big improvement over the old stock ones.

Popped them in a few years back, one blew last year a cheapo-halfrauds one went in, bloody awful!

So pair of the nightbreakers back, in loads better  :)

I use the Phillips equivalent in the Battlebus, improvement over stock.

Apart from one, all my Omegas have had factory HIDs

as an alternative you may try Philips X-treme Power, p/n 12258XVS2.
