Estates make great  camper vans when required. i now do it in a bit more style and have a camper van. The Monza should be there but as a "trailer queen" as I have no other ay of getting it there as SWMBO dont do car shows >:(

Never done Billing .. but at the moment that weekend is free ....  do they accommodate caravans or is it tents only ?? ..  :)

The caravan will be fine Nige but you may struggle to get a hook-up this late in the day. You can normally pitch on the outer ring of the ABS area but there are no hook-ups in there. I've just run on battery for the weekend when I've taken the van in the past.  :y

Thanks for that ... no worries regarding hook-ups .. I don't use them except for the main holiday in France ... just done 6 nights away on the battery without any problems - as the sun shone for 3 of them and topped the batteries back up ... :) ... just need to convince Mrs E now ....   :)

Just beware of your gas installs, when they explode it can make a very big mess.

A few more modifications and my van should be ready for Billing.  :y ;D Keith B knows what I'm getting at.  :y

In all seriousness, for anyone that hasn't been, it's a massive do and a lot of organising goes in to it.  :y You can reminisce at the old cars or stare in admiration at the time, effort and money some people have spent modifying their cars.  :y
It's a good day out/weekend if the weathers kind and the ABS guys are a friendly bunch.  :y

2 years too late for that!! Supposedly the improvements will mean it won't happen again????!!!!???  :D

Be careful as fairly sure one of the 'rules' at Billing is no sleeping over night in a car.

Not sure if they actually enforce it, but would be careful just in case this year they decide to!!

I wont be sleeping in the car now but if i did i would drop the back seat and sleep in the boot with feet poking through onto to back seat covered up  ;D

Got a more luxurious sleeping arrangement now  :y
