The 350 requires adblue, which the four pots don't... worth bearing in mind if you do alot of urban work...

What's that?

Its a wanky additive squirted into the exhaust of some diesels to meet emission requirements.

The better engines out there dont need it and it works with the catalyist to reduce NOx levels.

Urea and water are the main ingredients (hence beer piss would do the same thing).

A real pain in the arse in reality......ask a haulier what they think lol

How long does it last? If it runs out, does that mean it fails emissions tests?  :-\

Do the older 320 CDi engines need it?  :-\

Euro 5 standard requires it, some Euro 4 also need it.

Its added at about 5% of the diesel consumption, cant see it beingdetectable at MOT time though.

It can drop CO2 levels so hence reduces tax banding.....I note that some of the 'Blue Motion' Vadge units need it now to.....

Very nice ride with Al to Gatwick this morning at 5.30am. Car wasn't bad either.
