Both have full undertrays which is a real pita on the drive, as you can't get the car high enough to open the service flap, leaving you to try and manhandle sixteen square feet of plastic out of the way just to get the sump plug off... :-\

As nice as it would be to diy the Mercedes, the front third of the underside is covered...

What you need is a pit in your garage, Al..

.. and less crap blocking the way to the pit than I have in the garage ;D

Have you gone for one of their service plans?

Er... No ;D

Works out at about £150 per month on top of the car and only covers four services... Might look into it down the road...
Depends on how often the car thinks it needs servicing tbh... Last service was as 48600 miles, now on 52600, next service is a B one, due in 11800 miles. Undecided if they're good value or not tbh :-\

True, but it if you got stuck in, then the obstruction would move freely, and all the bits would take up far less space if they were attached to the chassis rather than stacked in boxes ::)

I have more chance of digging a trench in the front garden than I have of making anything useful in the free space of my garage... As I am sure Chris will testify ;D

Depends how much they charge for MOT's.....i can get an MOT for £25 in Swindon.....so based on that, they charged you £35 labour on each car....good if it takes an hour.....but its probably 15mins tops  :-\

Thing is Tunnie, my car has done nealy a thousand miles since I picked it up, so four services in three years simply won't cut it...

In my case it's £1776 for 24 litres of oil (60-300, depending on oil used), four oil filters (20), one air filter (20), one pollen filter (15), four sump plug washers (2), one fuel filter (10), a litre of brake fluid (15-25), 10 litres of 50/50 coolant (25) and four service printouts. Oh and one MoT (45) ::)

Say £462 in parts, the rest in labour and 'free' coffee...

Like I said, not sure if that's good value or not :-\

I reckon they only charged me about a tenner for the oil and filter change, taking off the cost of the MOT.

get a local independent to do it, wont invalidate warranty as long as its done to dealer spec.
