Spare Key
« on: 16 May 2014, 16:08:38 »

My spare key is knackered. At first I thought it was battery, but when I opened the fob I could see a broken solder point.

My Question: Is there any alternative to going to a Vauxhall dealer and paying a fortune for a new key ?

The solder point is really miniscule, I couldn't do it. I don't like having only one key  ???

Not sure if you ever pass my way, but these are usually straightforward to repair...   ...once I've repaired my iron, which currently makes Windscale seem cool.

Thanks both. In reading other posts I see that it's possible to use a different key and get it reprogrammed, and I have at least one  :y from the two Omegas that I have scrapped  :'(   :'(
