I love these old Saab's and most of the turbo jobbies go like shit off a shovel.

Sounds like you have an absolute bargain. :y

I always lusted after a Saab 900 Turbo in my Yoot!  :-*  Had to make do with a Fiat Uno instead....  :(  ::)  ;D

Did the girls notice?.... ::) ::) ::) I believe there was actually a Fiat Uno Turbo at one time. Pretty quick little bastards if memory serves. :y
There was indeed my mate had one until he ended up upside down in it racing a 205 gti :)

I only had a 2.0 one ..... and managed to crack the exhaust manifold on that.....it didnt like 100+ miles doing ummm 110mph 70mph from Gatwick to Swindon..... ::)

When times were hard I actually owned one of these 'pensioner specials'.
It was possibly the worst car I've ever encountered, even with a mighty 1.7 litre lump up front. ;D

I seem to recall that if I had one of the rear wheels on a piece of muddy grass then the other rear wheel would refuse to turn.......just what you need for a harsh Swedish winter. :'(
