Brake Servo 4 way non return valve

Damn and blast and other expletives. I've broken one of the vacuum taps off the valve in the Manifold to Brake Servo pipe - the bit where all the vacuum pipes all come off. EPC says p/n 90304535, but - it looks like its shrunk wrapped into the brake servo pipe.

I know there is a car in a local scrappy, so I may be able to get the whole pipe from Manifold to servo, but, how does the pipe come out of the servo? Is it just brute force and ignorance and heave the thing out?

Alternatively, anyone ever managed to replace the valve without wrecking the pipe?

Also managed to confirm busted A/C condenser,faulty fan rad switch and drivers side plug wells swimming in oil this weekend. Not a happy bunny.

Servo pipe just pulls out of the servo on the late 3.2's such as mine. Its hard work though. Big sqidgy bung holds onto it well.

There are a few figurations on the vacuume hoses that run of it for the multi rams etc so keep hold of those for your vehicle.

Mine was a pig. ....honest.

Although I wasn't sure if it was a twist and lock type affair at the time.

Although that demonstrates the servo end, it's not a 3.0L one. The bit I've busted isn't shown - there is a 2nd nipple on the plastic widget (left center), and it's that 2nd nipple I've busted off (lost my rag when all the pipes kept getting in the way whilst sorting out the cam cover gaskets  >:( )

What it does show is the heat shrunked on pipes - all those ridges in the pipe both sides of the valve. I assume that makes replacement of the valve virtually impossible?

No those rubber bits just push on to the servo pipe.

I'd prefer to just replace the arrowed valve, but what I'm asking is can you get the old one out of the servo pipe, and the new one in without wrecking the pipe. It looks to be heat shrunk in.

If you can't get it out, then there is a local scrappy with a 3.0L in it, so my secondary question was how to get it out of the car - which has been answered - Somewhere between it falls out and it;s a struggle  ;D

I'm missing something here, but surely just remove the one from the 3.0 and fit that complete. Why separate into component parts...?

Its a push fit anyway. How hard you want to push it is up to you ;) ;D

No gaurantee the one in the scrappy is any good. I won't know till I go there tomorrow lunchtime. It may also have the inferior 3 way version fitted :-) . I can get a price out of the local Vx dealer for a new part tomorrow on the way to work. If it's ony a few quid, that's what I'd rather do.

Its a push fit anyway. How hard you want to push it is up to you ;) ;D

Pushing too hard is what's got me in this mess  ;D

easy fix is blank the broken one then fit a T piece, to the surviving one, this enables you to use both pipes from one ?
did this on the diesel and was fine 120k later ;D
