What do peeps think of these two different code readers?

I quite like the first one as it does away the need for a laptop. But will the second one be able to do more? To me it isnt clear if the first one can read more than just the engine ecu, ie gearbox ecu, so ive sent him an email asking. Ive asked about a EML327 one before....but then i saw the first one  :-/

The prices seem quite keen too.....he also sells the cheapo tech2 lead, cheaper than most on ebay.

  yeah i'll take apart a pc no probs......but only just getting into diy on cars.....you know i once owned a merc slk and never opened the bonnet in 2 1/2 years of owning it   well i did once but that was to show an interested neighbour.....that bit is the engine...and that lump next to it is the supercharger

There's a box underneath the engine, I think it's called a sump, any bits left over, put them in there 8-)

But that's where I keep my wooly hat, scarf, big coat, blanket and kendal mint cake for when my Meega stops suddenly one day - voodoo curse will get us all one day  :-/
