JPAT auto box parts

Do JPAT still do parts for the AR35? Can't see it listed on the website.
Probably me though.

Iirc AR35 is GM's description for the BMW 4L40E. Or something like that.

Designation is 4L30 which is a 3L30 with an extra gear bolted onto it (Hence the second sump).

AR35 designed to handle up to 350nm of Torque, AR25 designed to handle up to 250nm of Torque.

Only real difference on the BMW version (Although they are all made by GM in France) is the inclusion of a drain plug and the fact BMW only used the AR35.

What I'd like to know more about is the 5L40 fitted to certain 2.5DTi's and some 3.2 V6's (Hans V6's had one on his 3.2) in other countries.

Interesting. Theory here was there's no software to run that box on anything other than the 2.5Dti :-\

If you look back on here for the pictures posted of his 3.2 you'll see the gearbox selector clearly states 4/3/2 whereas ours all have 3/2/1

So if an official GM release and not a retro fit, there must be software available.

Is that an ESP symbol as well?
