Hi all,

I today decided to take a look at my exhaust blow from the manifold to find some ham fisted dig has stripped the threads in the block its only the one hole I have the heli coil kit coming just wondered if there is any one near me with a right angled drill I can use to drill the hole out.....

Thanks in advance
Tea biscuits and bacon but ties provided of course ;-)

Would this help? :-
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sealey-45-Degree-Right-Angled-1-4-Hex-Screwdriver-Bit-Holder-Attachment-AK2104-/390224547530?pt=UK_Home_Garden_PowerTools_SM&hash=item5adb320eca

It's UK sourced, so shouldn't take too long to get to you. I paid less for mine, in one of those high street cheap shops, but it isn't a Sealey!

IMHO I doubt that would hold a decent drill bit tight enough .... and you don't want drill bits wobbling in holes .. tends to make a mess even if they don't break !!

I think you need something like ...

They're not bad, more expensive ones exist, but all of them are a tad "awkward" to actually use, as holding the head steady with one hand and actuating the drill, whilst also holding it steady, with the other, whilst upside down and using a torch to see the hole, all adds up to "where did I put the swear box" ... but it can be useful..... :)

I would ream out hole the fit heli coil-as thread stripped and drilling would be awkward -can ream by hand--also 2.2 easier than v6 -again
