So I called Vx Heathrow, as I need an aircon valve for the 3.2, I asked about oil prices while I was on the phone. Currently offering £8.99 + vat (£10.79) for a 5L bottle of GM's 10/40.

I was offered TC on oil recently at a local dealer and should have taken the guys arm off as I went back yesterday and saw a different fella who wouldn't give me any discount and it was £28 + VAT for 5 ltrs. 

So out of interest I inquired about cam cover gaskets and was told that they only sold the cam covers and gaskets as a set! £129 + VAT each!!    I didn't pursue it further as I decided that I wasn't going to get any favours, and the fella was wrong. 

Was he wrong? or have they changed their policy?

Done nearly 5000 miles on short & long runs so decided its time for a oil change..Looked in garage and this is the stuff i put in by mistake 5000 miles ago.
