Thing is, it would be no issue, if it was the same for everyone. We've all been beaten over the head about selling rules here, and understand the reasons behind them. Eventually at least.

So the rules/guidelines are there for everyone. Right?


Well, no actually. Oilman seems to get a special license somehow. Ok fine then, same for everyone right? So we can all sell any old over priced tat we feel like, in any section we choose, with no post count limit.

Can't we! :)

At the risk of repeating myself when LZ brought this up a couple of weeks ago, Oilman is an invited member, the same as the likes of WIM, to provide services to members. Ideally, we'd like to be able to put this into the Recommended Sellers section, but we can't get it working properly, it needs more development time.  Until such time as we can provide such members with a suitable area for describing their current offers, this is where we are.

I'll say it again, just in case anyone think there is anything underhand going on, nobody in the Admin Team make any gains (beyond the same discounts offered to members) from these companies, nor does the club gain financially (hence why we keep rejecting all the requests from the various insurance brokers and similar who want to advertise here, in return for a percentage. Or rejecting all paid advertising, or embedded Google Ads etc).


And that is the final word on the subject.
