I read somewhere that the years  between 50 and 59 are the most dangerous for heart attack.

This is probably because we still think we can do things that are now beyond us.

I remember some years ago my Dad telling me that he had got to that stage in life when people he knew, or who had impacted on his life in some way, started passing away, guess I have got there myself now....

Swmbo is sitting next to me, having lived through complications following heart surgery, we just never know do we.............

Indeed we don't.

My Dad (just turned 77) when for an angiogram the other week, as they pulled the wire/tube from his groin he had a cardiac arrest  ....... as he came to after they'd resuss'ed he thought he'd been asleep for a minute .......  Turns out he needs a triple by-pass

I think that he thinks that he'll be fit for work again sooner rather than later
