Can the seats from a 3.2 v6 be fitted into a 2.2.....I know they will fit but because the fronts have all the extra wiring for seat position can they be fitted and just basic wired as in the 2.2...ta much.

I have done a couple of seat changes & FL to FL  will be ok.  If elite seats a small wiring mod is required to allow memory seat function to work .

Don't turn ignition on while seats are disconnected electrically, as this will put the airbag light on  ;)

There is a "how To" in the maintenance guide under ICE/electrical  : retro fitting

edit:  Apart from the small wiring mod if you using elite seats  . . .it's just plug & play  . . all the the connectors are there

If the 3.2 is an Elite as opposed to an MV6, the passenger seat will have the child seat transponder. Do not connect the yellow flat rectangular plug under it.
Once fitted the SRS dash warning light may illuminate and will need a TechII or similar to reset

Good point Rob  . .  . that child seat sensor connector , could do with. being added to the guide as it is not there

As I well know when I connected it on one of my seat changes  ::) ::)

Hi TB . .  can you explain more on this as I am thinking of switching my FL  MV6 seats for FL elite leather . Will all be OK if the yellow connector is left alone as it is at the moment ? :-\

Would think that leaving the flat yellow plug unconnected regardless should be enough to prevent it becoming an issue :-\
