Those jacks remind of Darth's Clarke jack at Newent the other year ....... it had a hair trigger for the release  ........ either on or off & very little in between.

So its not just me that noticed this then. Its a good jack but its not for lowish cars

I eventually treated myself to one of the Arcan jacks from Costco ..... low enough to get under the Smart & just about capable of lifting a corner of the Merc

Ah yes "Hier Trigger" I see. Absolutely lethal if you get a bad one. Not great if you get a good one either.

Arcan 3ton is way better, lower, higher and cheaper. ...and more reliable. The alloy one AndyB links too is MUCH lighter than both.

Anyway about this jack , looks a decent bit of kit ..should be just the job for lifting the mig with ease and safety
