Yep , at my old place it was known that the sparkies were on a lot of dough  ;)

That's because they're all crazy and like to play with 415V.. based on the ones I've met, anyway, like the one who does heavy electrics (kV stuff) at Stanstead who says the "sparks and bangs are the best bit" :o

..... done a few shifts at Jag Land Rover and  .....

Is there a young (25-ish) spark there called 'Tall Paul' ...... I really can't think of his last name. Scar around his mouth where he got hit in the face with a golf bat.

If there is he's on about 50- 60 grand  :o

That's nothing for a good factory sparky, ask Andy B, he works for Heinz, no Mortgage and drives a  Mercedes Benz.............. :D :D :D

Andy B....eanz is one of the 'super wealthy' here at OOF. ;)

I struggle to get by on minimum wage. :)

Oh well, nobody said that life was fair. :'( :'( :'( ;D ;D ;D

Now where shall I dine tonight?........ The soup kitchen or the food bank?

I worked in a carpet factory when I was a lad and the work was as dull as dishwater, but the constant banter with the other lads made it quite enjoyable really.  :)

Hope it works out for you!  :y

In my yoof when I spent upto 16 hours a day in a potato packing plant, .......25kg bags....... etc etc

LUXURY!!

I had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night half an hour before I went to bed, drink a cup of sulphuric acid, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad would kill us and dance about on our graves singing Hallelujah

You try telling kids of today that

 :)

Thank you Monty Python :-)
