Omega becoming increasingly rare.
« on: 31 August 2014, 19:30:33 »

During a 430 mile round trip from Lincolnshire to Powys I did not see another Omega.

I saw an 'E' registration Senator 3.0i, badged CD, along with and a 'P' registration Calibra.

But no Omega.

Hang on to them boys. They will soon be as rare as rocking horse shit. :y

PS....trip computer shows 30.4 MPG.

Loads of them around here. Mostly facelifts, but we're talking about cars that are getting to the end of their natural life

Lord Opti doesn't realise he hasn't been off his own estate yet. There's bloody loads round these parts.

Reading is a 'hotbed' of Omega's then?

I see more Bentley than I do Omega. :y

Thing is, how many good ones are there?

I'm assuming all the ones on here are in a good state of health but I've seen plenty on eBay and Autotrader that need plenty of work to get them to a reasonable standard.

I'm a veritable 'whippersnapper' as far as Omega drivers go. I hear that the average age of an Omega driver is 126. :)

Several here at OOF are much older. :)
