Urgh, Golf.

My Father In Law is a keen tosser golfer and constantly tries to get me to the 'Club' to meet all the great 'Guys' and have a 'Round'.

I'd rather deficate in my hands and clap.

Now I onow a lot of you don't like Golf or Golfists. ....or both. But, golf is not easy just playing for yourself. To play that game in front of an audience is harder. On tv harder still. ....but for your country or as a team event, where other team members are hanging on your performance as well, for the glory of Eurpoe/USA .....

Pressure. Some buckle. Some breath it in and thrive on it.  THAT is the real talent. If you're not impressed by highlights of the march of the europeans last year, then this is definitely not the weekend gor you.

Generally, an understandable opinion. But as with any sport, at the pinnacle of whatever game, there's always excitement. Last years RC was electric.


....and watching is very different to participating.

Watching golf simply requires that you turn the telly on and fall asleep in a chair, which actually has some appeal
