Hi guys,
I want to install s external temp gauge into the water system.
In order to do that, I have to cut the top Jose of the water pipes and install a 
Sender unit.
What do I need to watch out for?
I did it on other ats so I know how to do it but,
How do I bleed the water system once is done?
Anything I need to watch out for especially on the v6 omega?

I'd say it would be easier to steal ECU's water temp. signal The system is self-bleeding, when topping up just burp the hoses by squeezing them and top up as the level goes down on the reservoir

Be careful. You cut Jose he's liable to cut you back. That's how it was in my old neighborhood.

Ment hose. 5am in the mRNA is a bit early

can't you just drill & tap into where the original ECU & dash temp sender units are already fitted?

Don't really want to mess with the ecu.

Had some vauxhall with problems on ecu's that's while I try keep away from it.
They not cheap to get and allways need a garage to set up again.

Well, is there. Seems to work.
Fluctuating quiet a lot between around 80 and 110.
Depend on speed, and up hill, straight etc.
Burned child on overheating problems. Sorry.
Ext temp gauge are cheaper as head gaskets or radiators. Lol

I would be inclined to believe the original gauge.

Temperature rising into the red on hills and motorways almost always points to a clagged up radiator. Quicker and easier to flush (or fit a new) radiator than faf about with a seconf temperature gauge

Flushed radiator and filled up with Antifreezer . Done
Don't misunderstand me on here. It's not going into the red, but going up in stationary traffic quiet a bit more then it would be normal driving.
Same when it's going slow traffic.
Used to temp is going up from cars but can't see how much it is going to, just guessing on the normal gauge.
Fans coming on as they should too.
Maybe normal on the omega? Don't know..
Is a while since I had my last vauxhall.

Was just a thought as I have those toys in the shed from previous cars. Lol

I would say you still have air trapped in the system. This happens to my old 2.0 omega the temp would go from 80 to 130 within seconds. This only happened after I had change anti freeze.

Not 100 .
It's on normal drive under the 90 mark and in slow traffic, stuck traffick or long hills around 95.
Not reached the 100.
Is this normal?
