How to mirror tablet screen on a TV

Tablet in question is a Asus Memo HD 7 android...

I know how to mirror pictures and videos etc.. Wireless that are in the camera roll, I'm trying to mirror everything via cable ideally to a Samsung Smart TV

Any idea on the simplest/cheapest solution?

Some tablets have micro HDMI plugs. That would be the simplest.

Otherwise, USB, the TV may see it as a USB drive, and play that way (via the TV's player, not the tablets).


Is it worth the bother though, what is the gain?

There's no HDMI on this tab, Have tried a USB cable nothing pops up on the TV all it does it charge the tablet.

You ain't gonna achieve anything satisfactory over wifi. So give it up as a bad job.

It's OK to view pictures, Just doesn't allow you to mirror everything you see on the tablet on the TV.
