Can an MV6 be a 2.5L

As above, an estate on ebay is described as MV6 but as a 2.5l engine. :)

There's a sport that looks like a MV6 but is a 2.2

Not sure. I guess if your MV6 blew up you could fit a 2.5 to keep it going. :-/

in a word, no.

MV6 where only ever fitted with 3.0 & 3.2 Engines. (2.6 on facelifts only)

Its either had an engine swap, or has had the spec changed. eg 2.5 CD had MV6 wheels and interior fitted.

iirc

All original (mini facelift) MV6's were 3.0's

Facelifts went to 3.2 or 2.6, and also a 2.2 badged as sport

AFASIK only 2.6, 3.0 or 3.2.

I wouldn't go by what sellers say on ebay some are genuinely wrong others.....

I was under the impression they were all 3 litre too.

When I got my Mig of e-bay the seller claimed it was a elite, I could see from the pics that all it had over a CDX was the boot lip, even so it was a fair price for a CDX, but I used the miss selling a power point for getting some cash knocked off, it worked :)

Wood trim, not Aluminium 1st give away, plus wheels, wrong seats, wrong colour interior
