Elite going to scrap - last chance for bits
« on: 13 November 2014, 08:51:59 »

As mentioned on several other posts, there's a nice Star Silver Elite 2.5 V6 FL in my local scrappy. Super low-mileage. I'm, of course, having lots of little bits off it. Be going this afternoon, and that will probably be the last time I get chance before it's sent for crushing  :(

Sadly no...
self-levelling dampers
alloys (scrapped GRR!)
Leather (velour interior)
Header tank
Cruise / lamp stalks

I'm having big bits like radiator, etc, the plenum spoken for

If anyone wants me to grab them any parts I can. Let me know before 1ish today :y

PS Apologies to mods that this is not strictly within forum rules, regarding sale of parts, I'm not out for making money, I'm literally just trying to help out OOFers with bits n bobs before a 37k Omega goes to the crusher forever; as I appreciate I live in a bit of a backwater, and not convenient for 90% of OOFers on here to get to the scrapyard in question  :(

37k - that is shocking. Still at least you are getting some parts before it is turned into a fridge or whatever.

What a throw away society we live in.  :o

Ok, I wont tell you....  ;)

Noo, it's an auto. With a matt, unworn lever, with the 'S' still intact. Must remember to get back in with a drill to get the lever out, to replace my super shiny one.

Guessing the cambelt's gone.. or at least i ruddy well hope the cambelt's gone, because otherwise someone's literally thrown an executive saloon car with 37k miles, electric everything, in the bin, for no reason other than it's 'old'!!  >:(
