OK This was brought up, I am looking at any non mainstream thing.

I have sensed a ghost once, either that or it was a very active imagination - woke up fully alert and knew I was being watched. It happened the day after the F.I.L. died and I knew it was him.

Dowsing / ley lines no idea what they are but dowsing does work and leylines do exist - but what are they? I am guessing at magnetic field disturbances or something of that ilk.

Ok......being a 'stuffy' mainstream-scientist (in my younger years) I dont really believe in such things......however:

In the course of farming activities over recent years I discovered that just with two 90 degree bent welding rods held loosely in my hands, I can locate with some degree of accuracy, the location of field drains (lines of perforated plastic/clay pipes laid in lines approx 2-3 ft. in depth which often become blocked) .....I was shown the technique by an old farmer and was AMAZED it works; and works well!
.....still, a little bit of me thinks I`m deluded about this business, but despite of my continued scepticism; work it does!

I was able to trace water mains, I used the bent welding rods too.

There MUST be a scientific answer to it, and I would bet serious money that it is related to an internal compass or similar - in other words it is related to birds direction sense.

There must be some sort of disturbance in earths magnetic field we can find.

I tend to believe we still have a lot to learn.

I did a test once out of about 20 people only 1 could not dowse*. It is just an unused sense - nothing else.

Whatever it is it is not little elves tickling you or anything so silly!

A load of us out for a drive around ended up at Avebury and we watch what people were doing.
