The perils of Barcardi
« on: 28 November 2014, 20:35:18 »

Last Saturday after large a amount of local firewater ie Zider myself and my cousin decided that it would be a good idea to crack open a bottle of Bacardi 8. Half a bottle in and i thinks it would be a good idea to purchase a new badgeless grille from fleabay for the mig. After searching i settle for one at a cost of £29.99 Ok me thinks thats reasonable. Anyways after twelve hours of sleep and a sore head later i decide to check my emails for confirmation of my purchase.
Whatt!! £44.99 wtf has happened here it was £29.99 last i remember. Oh dear after closer inspection i notice that i had bought it from Poland and had incurred a £15.00 postage fee.

Had to laugh about it no point sulcking but a lesson learnt about drinking and the perils of the internet.  :-[ :-[

Happy Christmas campers.  :y :y

Been there and done that, can be quite a sobering experience the following day...... :D :D I am banned from shopping on the net after 10.00pm, but then she is in bed at the moment, and I have just discovered a second hand car dealer about 15 miles away has just imported about 20 Mini's from Japan and for sale at a very attractive price........... :'( :'(

Friend of mine after a few beers on a Sunday decided that the 2.5td auto omega wasn't his cup of tea and fancied a change.  Managed to "bag" a xj from .. deepest Scotland.
