Done it 3 times .. won 3 times ... easy as pie. Costs are added to the claim if you win.

All the initial work is done on line, only if it gets as far as Court do you actually have to attend anywhere.

As an aside I worked in the Courts for a while handling both sorts of claims so have a good working knowledge of how it was 2 years back ... don't think much has changed as this years claim against a sports shop went through very easily ..... they backed right off and paid up in full within 7 days of getting the summons .. after telling me I could not claim for anything as the shoes would have to be returned to the manufacturer for "investigation" .. a quick claim under mcol quoting the sale of goods act ... and they simply coughed up .. :)
