Come the spring, I would like to do another DVD on the 2.0/2.2 cambelt change process if we have any volunteers to donate a vehicle.....
I think you should do a DVD on autobox fluid change...  ...and if you need a car to do it on, I know of one...  ::)

An autobox fluid change party......I'm up for that :y

I got both gaskets (and the washer...) and planning to get this done sometime over the Christmas period (I am not going away...), so if you guys did not mamage to get this done before that I will post some pictures...

I assume the timing belt change in the magazine is 2.0 and 2.2...looks the same but can someone confirm the 2.0 is the same as the 2.2? :y

Pretty much the same, different cambelt kit though because the 2.2 has a slightly longer block (its a stroked 2.0 with a different injection system which includes drive by wire, coil per plug and twin lambda control)

I actualy now use a loctite sealent instead of the gaskets....seems to work better.

Still think OOF should produce a DVD of it being done by an expert on a 1998 Silver MV6....   ::)

Interesting... I think that Vx eliminated the gasket for the engine oil sump on later models? Is this also the case for the gearbox - am I likely to find that my 2001 has no gaskets when I remove the two gearbox sumps?
