Last first, yes, pull out what you can, ok temporarily :y

Budget for a new exhaust though as it might have come from the centre boxes first... And you'll struggle to split them...

Ok , guess the only way to tell is to split the back box and see where its coming from  :-\

Funny you should say that, last Exhaust I had fitted on my MFL V6 was at the VX Stealers (2 middle and rear box).  I promptly went to collect when I was informed was ready !  On walking across car park I saw my car and noticed the Tail Pipe on them "New VX Exhausts" must be short as I could not see it   :o  On closer inspection I looked under the rear of my car to be greeted my two shiney middle section pipes looking at yer !  :D  and NO rear box  >:(  Surely it would have been a bit "Throaty"  when parking her !!!

I walked in and asked the service lady to "Come outside"  ;)  A suggested she look look under the rear of my car ( in the "very" short skirt aka Belt - not as I had noticed or the reason for making her look under the car  8)) and tell me what perhaps the issue may be !!!!!     Ooooh Sir was the reply !!!!!!  I had to wait another day as they did not have one in stock.

I was VERY tempted to start it and give a few revs whilst the "Lady" looked under the rear of my car  :D

Same with mine last year after an "enthusiastic" launch from the lights !

6ft tail !  I cut it off as fsr up tail pipe as imcould and poked the small section back .

No change to engine and exhaust note and tail never come back.

Mine did the same ..pulled out loads of it...keep an eye on it because mine just kept coming out for a few days and eventually it was all out....However as taxi al told me and has said to you....it may be the centre box....in my case i believe he was correct.still driving it as it is a do not notice any difference but will fit complete new exhaust just before m.o.t. :y :y
