Is it possible take the plasticy bits off a f/l door card....im wanting to carbon vinyl them as they are rather scruffy.... :D

Yup, plenty of info on here if you search for it... I did a brief howto in a thread back in late 2013 iirc...

I just drill out plastic rivet and after self tap and washer. :y

Did this myself, in order to leather-clad the doors - you're actually able to snap off the 'plastic rivet' on the reverse of the door card, and as mentioned, use some self-tappers to refit (use short ones, or you'll be cursing!) by screwing into the plastic tube which is left, after snapping off the 'rivet head'. Personally found that Rover use some excellent screws in their doors - they have a toothed/serrated thread, which is designed to bite and chew and cut its own thread into plastic. If you can either nab a couple of dozen from a scrappy or buy these commercially I can personally vouch for them  :)
