removed sl suspension question

Hi yesterday I removed the sl shocks and replaced them with kyb shocks . I pulled fuse 27 I'm guessing that's the one for the compressor  only. Can anybody confirm this and anything I should of done. Thank you

Remove the sensor, all the plumbing and the compressor ::)

Aye the compressor next on list  erm  where is it in boot next to cd changer ?

Completely opposite end of car ....... under the front offside wing/bumper  :y

pulling fuse 27 will disable the rear cigar lighter.  when i removed the sl i eventually put 27 back in and removed the relay instead, the pump is still in situ, seemed to work. search on here to find which relay it is, i think it is the second from left under the steering wheel.

Yank the relay, next to (and identical to) the headlight main beam.

Yep. Nothing more required. Can leave fuse 27 in place as a result which keeps the rear 12v socket working.


However. If you ever intend to ever re fit self levelling, consider that the pump WILL seize if left unused for a while.

Ah right  other side thanks .  The pump psi  anybody know what it is  got an offroader project  onboard air compressor be handy .

it sits lower at rear compared to front  think new springs will be needed
