I like the tuned length exhaust manifolds and the single carb feeding all 6 ..... no 1 & no 6 must be starved of fuel compared to 3 & 4  ;D

Always adored the PAs, always thought they were so ruddy cool. In The Specials music video Ghost Town they're driving a PA Cresta/Velox.

Really interesting site if you like your older Vauxhalls, pre-Opel.

http://vauxpedianet.uk2sitebuilder.com/vauxhall-pa---velox-cresta

that link is the design development for the PA series, and I find it a thoughly interesting read   :)

If you took the fins off the back you'd be hard pushed to tell front from back from the side.. it looks like they put the roof on back to front as it is :-\

While we are getting all nostalgic over old Vauxhall motors I'll chip in and say that my (late) uncle owned a 1965 Victor 101.

It seemed huge to me at the time. :y

I actually owned one of these in 1963,it cost me about £110 and it was pink!
I clearly remember having to buy a new set of tyres for it including the spare, and argued with the price quoted,  £29!!!!!!
Now why didnt I keep it?
