Fault codes......
« on: 27 February 2015, 10:23:28 »

Hi guys,

I had the car serviced yesterday and they picked up the following codes, turned the light out but of course 2 miles down the road, the light came on again.

It's an October 99 manual, saloon 2.5 V6 petrol.

The codes are:

Air regulation inlet valve 59
Check lamp low voltage 135
Revolution signal - no signal 31

Any ideas?

Cheers!

Does car run ok?

Codes are -

31   No Engine RPM Signal - normal when engine not running
59   Intake Manifold Valve 1 Voltage Low -  check the solenoid plug is pushed fully home on Intake Manifold Valve 1
135   Telltale (Checklight) Voltage Low - related to the bulb in the instrument panel for the engine ECU light.....is it working?

Hi Thank you.

The car drives well apart from an occasional midfire under load at low revs.

Is the ECU light the management light?
