Garage labour costs
« on: 21 March 2015, 12:02:21 »

I was just wondering what people pay for labour costs from their local garage. Not main dealers, obviously, just small, local garages. Be interesting to know how they vary around the country.

I've just picked mine up after oil and filter service, labour is £30ph, very good I think.

For the sake of argument let's assume twenty minutes to change the oil and filter on your Daewoo.

Yes...I agree. A charge of £10 is reasonable. :y ::) ::)

20 euros an hour here in Spain (roughly equivalent wage wise to £20 in Uk) but parts seem to cost you more and the garage gives you a little receipt (no VAT) unless you ask specifically for a BIG receipt with VAT.
