I miss my kids being young

 Nice sunny day here , once upon a time we would have piled into the car and gone out for the day , usually up the coast or to Alnwick castle for the day , had some great days out when they were smaller , now when I suggest a day out all I get is "not bothered" and they spend the day stuck on a games console or in front of a TV   :(

Ah, the joys of parenthood, when they get to that certain age you are seen as a slight embarrassment. But to their friends you are probably seen as cool and their parents are the embarrassment. :-\ You can,t win so don,t worry about it. :D

Think back to the sleepless nights, puke, nappies filled with biological warfare leftovers, pee, screaming, snot etc.

I'd miss my kids being little too if not for the fact that if they were it'd mean I was still married to my ex-wife!!!!

In respect to OP, yes, it is a shame that they grow up; stepsons with girlfriends I could handle, but daughter with current boyfriend is a real worry. We loved her previous one, this one, just something about him.............. :-\ :-\ :(

I thought you said no boyfriends until Miss Vamps is 35......and only then with parental supervision. ;D
