Rear blinds
« on: 17 April 2015, 19:05:58 »

I have here, a Prefacelift rear parcel shelf with blind and with Bose speaker covers fitted. Also a Facelift rear parcel shelf with fitted blind. Also a free standing blind.
How can I test the electrics to see if they work ok. The wires in the loom to the plug seem to be red, brown, and blue with a red stripe.

Thanks in advance. :y

The Brown should be negative, the red - permanent 12volts, and the blue/red stripe - a trigger wire. I expect voltage applied to the trigger wire to raise the blind, and then voltage removed to lower it.

Don't let this saying put you off :  'Red to Yellow, Blue to Bits'.
