Could any caterers or ,the many members( and there seems many on here ) with mutliple weddings behind them, be able to advise!

The future Mrs Omegod is having shall we say, " a thermonuclear pre-wedding breakdown". She has been superb in organising it, as have I in paying for it  . We went to the venue to talk throught he finer details tonight, we have 106 coming in the daytime and expect afurther 70 to attend the evening do 7:30 pm onwards. The venue say to cater for ALL guests in the evening buffet at £25 per head, I say borlocks to that! all my mates and male family members will be rather bloated  and won't scoff much and a big meal will have already been served at 5pm. She is taking the venue's word as gospel ...

So...what would you recommend numbers wise for the evening catering...70%..80%...
