New MOT on Corsa- no advisories
« on: 27 May 2015, 18:44:26 »

Chuffed to bits. Corsa flew threw first MOT in our ownership. No advisories.

9 months of ownership. 9000 miles ,new oil pressure switch as it was weeping (common fault).

Not bad seeing as we don't even live in Britain!

Good news, you don't get many issues with the Corsa other than broken springs, CV gaiter clips and the odd steering component with play.

My Zaf passed also yesterday with no advisories...140K miles and counting.

Our 2003 Corsa failed the MOT on this.

Otherwise a generally trouble free little car. :y

Mind you.....it has only covered 27,000 miles. :y

In 2005 I bought my mum a brand new 1.0 Corsa Life to replace a rusted out Nova that I was getting fed up of fixing. In the 10 years she's owned it, it's had three new batteries, one lambda sensor and that's it. It's recently passed 8000 miles, so only another 12000 till it's due it's first service  :o. MOT man just looks out the window at it and writes the ticket. ;D

How she hasn't wrecked the clutch revving the bo11ocks off the engine as she pulls away I don't really know.
