Al came to me to fit the starter moter that he had sold me, as no other forum member had come to my aid, and did a splendid job, quickly and efficiently despite my car being half in the road.
All assembled and reconnected, turned the key - absolute silence! It can't be low battery, can it, because Al had a 12v inspection lamp on the battery minutes ago? I nearly worried a little.....
Phew, it WAS the battery!

He possibly would but then he was asking Al if he dressed up like lady Gaga last week....he obviously hasn't met Al has to be honest I cant see it myself in anyway ;D

But good job done  . . . went very well  . .  . bit fiddly  . . but well happy to tackle another now  :y :y
