Odd Brake light Problem
« on: 20 June 2015, 19:58:42 »

Hi Forum, I had my brake light check message come up and I checked the lights and only the drivers side is not working. On checking it, it lights up dimly. Is this just a bulb problem or maybe a short somewhere?

Clean all the connections in the bulb holder and the contacts spring firmly against the bulb ..... you've possibly a dodgy 'earth'  :y :y :y

Have you changed any bulbs recently? If so, check you've got them fitted correctly.

Stop/Tail bulbs should be 21/4 W not the more usual 21/5W and they also have offset and staggered locating pins... Easy to force the wrong bulb and have issues ;)
