Courier options?
« on: 09 July 2015, 13:31:49 »

Not an OOF courier, just looking for general advice, re: Seen a wheel (just the one, wheel and tyre) in Bedfordshire, on a popular auction website, and I can have it if I can organise my own courier - can anyone recommend one? and prices for a steelie and tyre.

Ta much in advance.  :y

Simple as that!  :)

Cheapest is 'DX' then Yodel

Never heard of DX, are they any good, anyone? It's steel wheel, so I've no wories about them damaging in transit, so long as it just gets here!  :D

DX are a big company, started out specalising in document delivery, Courts used to use them all the time for moving documents around, and Court documents have to be where they should be every time on time !!. Never used them for parcels though so can't comment on that side really.

Recently used TNT with good results... was booked via Parcel2go. It seems that they have finally relaxed their Domestic to Domestic policy ::)

As an example, it cost £13 to send a pair of roof bars next day :y

Ahh, appreciate the offer, I only spotted the thing this morning, so no worries.

I'll chuck up a last-minute Wanted Ad, see if anyone wants to sell me their spare wheel and they're coming to Billing  :)

We have some parcels delivered into work by DX, if you could see the knuckle dragging polish they have working for them you can see why they are cheap. Ive not yet received a box thats not got some kind of rip in it. If you do use them get the sender to wrap up well  :y

As it's not been mentioned, myhermes is very popular with ebay businesses at the moment, I used them myself and they are pretty cheap to be fare.
