Engine looses power and stops
« on: 02 September 2015, 23:29:28 »

Engine looses power and stops rev after reverse engaged, or after running while breaking.
But on idle everything works OK. What might be? Transmission is automatic...

Ok so I've readed the ecu and the errors are:

12 - ok, done it with engine off
19 - Incorrect RPM Signal
57 - Idle Air Control Voltage Low

What do you think?
I'm kind of lost here...

Code 19 is crank sensor.
57 refers to Idle Air Control Valve

Check the plug is fully home and connected, if it is then suspect the iacv is fooked or dirty or clean or replace as necessary

I have cleaned the iacv with wd40 loads of it... assembled but small improvements!
I've taken the inlet manifold to access the back of the engine. I wonder if the wrong torque can lead to some kind of air leak ...

Perhaps the inlet o-rings are not so great but I doubt...
