I am afraid the DVLA are equally confused. It may be their system can't tell you what it will be in a year's time..

But I am sure yours is in the post Mar2001 band (CO2 listed on the reg document) which will be stung come next year.

I'd ask for it in writing, myself, and then hold them to their word when they start pestering you for 440 quid.
