I've been through several times, in a variety of vehicles.  They don't do ANYTHING like that unless bated to do so.

As you travel through (in small convoys) you see people throwing fruit and things on their roof's enticing the animals.  They just nick the bananas/apples/big-macs and piss off to eat it.
