Which member of OOF has owned his Omega the longest?
I bought my ex demonstrator in May 2001. It was first registered on the 2 March 2001. 14 1/4 years later and it's still my daily transport.

I had a 2.0 GLS for twelve years....apparently it's now living in a Polish scrap yard but on the brighter side,I have an ex police 3.2 which I have owned for eleven years and still running like a Rolex

Can't match anyone's on here, however, as I bought Pissy from my father it has been in the family since 2004, I think, so 10-11 years and 179k miles and counting

Bought mine on 1/12/2010 .One of the cheapest cars I've ever bought but undoubtedly the best ,a one owner and 50,000 miles now on 92,000 & hasn't missed a beat ,great car.

Had my old CD pfl from 2007 till 2013, sadly now cubed. Had the Desmond from 2013 to now. Cat C but still running very well. Hope i haven,t jinxed it.

Bought mine in January 2014 with no belt history but knew it would need doing - sure enough 2 weeks later it snapped and trashed 16 of the valves... got a new pair of heads (Vectra Challenge #020 engine) now fitted and it's been fine except for the coilpack/dispack

Bought P/F/L 3.0 Elite in 2008 sold in 2008[7mths] to fund Senator B purchase.Bought present F/L 3.0 Elite 2012 after Senator written off and couldn't find another,so 3yrs for this one.

My 1998 MV6 is 12yrs in November, as bought in 2003 when it was 5yrs old, and 88k.

Now allegedly at 224k, but went a long while with no ABS ECU signal

Six and a half years for the white one bought at 4.7 years old and 97k, now thrice written off and 272k...

Black one, six months.

All my Omegas I've owed, in order of buying:

1998 MV6 (aka "The Silver Bullet") - 12yrs, covered 136k in my ownership, still my favourite, and daily runner.
1996 CD (aka Project TB1, "The Heap") - a few months, sold.
1998 TD Elite (aka Project TB2, "TRACTOR!") - 2+ yrs, approx. 20k, sold to forum member. Miss that car. My 2nd favourite Omega.
2000 2.5 Elite (aka "Goldie/Golden Nugget") - about 6 weeks, it took exception to a thrashing, and let go. Broke for parts.
2003 3.2 Elite (aka "TBE/The Grey Dart") - 5+yrs, approx. 50k, Mrs TB claims its her car now
