PFL CDX is wrong, plus your missing some, MFL MV6, MFL + PFL, GLS, CD/CDX, Tourer, Elite and Soft Stars .

It's a work on progress, I had intended to keep this thread FL only & tbh I'm not overly familiar with PFL alloys apart from the Elite/MV6 alloys.

Seriously though, I was sure enough that the PFL CDX wheels did look like them while also the early FL GLS alloys looking similar.  :-\

Also maybe worth doing 2 different sets of alloy identification threads separate for PFL & FL maybe.

Easy tiger  ;D ;D . . . . Mr.Omegaman has taken on the challenge of making this guide & readily admits he does not know all the types of wheels & that the guide is work in progress.

Could you , or indeed any Oofer, post up pictures with ID, into the original thread ,  of what you think is missing & maybe Mr.Omegaman can add them to his guide to make complete .

What do you think the alloy labelled as PFL  CDX is from then ?

SOrry but Mr Omegaman is quite correct, they are PFL CDX, they're just MFL, so 97-99. The CDX ones pictured are almost the same as FL GLS style, just with a bit of what looks like time on a lathe, and a coat of lacquer on the FLs.

Other PFL CDX alloys are the type shown below.



(a better pic I'm sure is out there. Possibly involving me walking outside and taking a pic of my car, but that involves getting up  ;) )

Here you can see the strong similarity between the MFL CDX and the FL GLS alloys...





My personal theory is they re-used the dies with a small modification, and 'blinged' them up a bit with a polished surface. The only difference being the small 'lumps' on each spoke are lost.

As Terbs says this little info guide is coming together nicely  :

So pictures needed of  MFL 16"  Elite  & the MFL  Irmscher MV6  ones .

I think I'm right in saying the MFL Irmscher MV6 wheels are what Gary FFC has on his PFL estate that was at Wycombe

Anyone suggest what else is missing from the range ?  & if so  can you  possibly post them up  ;)

They are indeed :y although have been refurbished as normally grey with machined highlights... also available from Irmscher as aftermarket in plain silver... 7J ET33 235/45/17 :y
