I don't wanna get into politics but there isn't anyone that would make me vote at the moment.  Except maybe for Lizzie lol. I think her first law should be to reduce the tax on essential items all women need.
Re: tax increase on cars.., much as i complain about the time Jue spends under the bonnet of one omega or the other, I have to admit we got a good deal with our Elite (£495 for a car worth at least £1500 with LPG conversion already running on it  :)) so we win on all fronts.  There's a compromise available with everything.

I have to be honest, I'd quite like a bigger car (volume wise anyway).., Landrover or Range Rover will do he he!  If tax does go up I reckon u could get paid to take one ha ha!

Gotta keep an eye on LPG conversion kits methinks.

Going in my manifesto as we speak.....good one!! :y :y :y

I will not be dictated to and forced to drive a piddling little car that I hate!!!  I have always had fairly big cars, and always will as long as they continue to be around.

It really hisses me off, all this save the planet bit - it's just another excuse to tax the poor worker more.  How does that save the planet?  It doesn't!

In fact, my next car is going to be a 3.2, see my thread, and I will enjoy every moment of driving it, I don't care what it costs.

When the States and China start to comply with all the rules that come out of these planet-saving theories, then I might reconsider, though I doubt it, but until then, they can sod off.  I'm not convinced, and I'm not playing.

Tony was / is still a very clever politician who can duck and dive, getting out just at the right moment before all started to hit the fan........ready for GB, who is politically 'dim' compared to TB, just standing, getting all the sxxt all over his sour face! lol ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

The disaster we are now in had it's foundation in Tony's time, which made that administration / the Treasury unable to cope, due to insufficient funds and poor economic policy, to cushion the WORLD credit crunch.  But Tony got his fame, an PM's salary, and a future career at our expense. Great Britain and GB has now been hit by the fall out. :'( :'( :'( :'(

We now require cool, calm, but a radically different Government with well balanced policies to tackle the political, economic and social onslaught which will get worse in the short and medium term at least. :'( :'( :'(
