Popped in Vx Dealer on the way home...
« on: 10 November 2015, 18:18:24 »

Picked up a 20L drum 10/40 Semi for £22+vat   :)

Sat in an Insignia. Still don't like them, seats too hard, no support. Is it just me or do the facelifted ones have tiny dials? Dash cluster is way too small  :-\

Overheard a women at service desk going through her bill, something about a coolant leak. Anyway the bill was £420   :o

She went outside and climbed into her 02 plate Corsa!

Glad I still do DIY  :)

Are the Elites any better? Shame as Insignia's are good value.

£6.5k can get you 2010 one, 60k miles full Elite spec.

How about the 2.8V6?. At least it would have reasonable performance.

Okay, so it has the looks of Susan Boyle but if it's cheap enough I could be tempted to overlook this.

The VXR is definitely rapid, and the 4x4 system works a treat... worth a look if the price is right ;)

Was put off the Insignia VXR myself, well especially the early ones... There is a known haldex issues with the 4WD on the VXR Insignia, Not sure about the 2.8 V6 Elite. Apparently after 2010/11 they improved them. But on the early ones it can be a costly issue apparently. Looking on the VXR / Insignia forums awhile ago.
