Not likely, £300 & 6 points for the insurance plus release fees from the garage of £150 + £20 per day + having to fess up to whom ever you re-insure it with that you had it lifted for no insurance & your gonna get points, £100 for the MOT and whatever DVLA deem fit for the tax.

It's a shame that I didn't have a camera with me a few weeks back,because there's been some asshole chav that's been flying around our area in what he probably thought was the doggies danglies .....lowered,loud and anti social.Why did I need the camera? because he had come round a roundabout to fast and with his superior driving skills stacked into the parapet of a bridge,and I mean stacked it!!! absolutely huge debris field and having to be cut out of what was left of his shed. Sorry but it did cheer me up.....T WAT!! ;D ;D

Sadly too many these days seem to think it worth the risk of getting caught and paying fines against the cost of doing things the way most of us do i.e. Legally.

Dvla used to calculate back tax at 5 1/2 times duty evaded. Excluding fine. Given its 9 years since my last shift I doubt the rate will have reduced any!

Wasn't an AMG by chance. Had one come pass me today on the M6 near Stafford, must have been doing the wrong side of 120
