Have you ever thought it might be your eyes? I can see fine with my standard bulbs.  ::)

My vision is excellent thank you.

When I get to your age this may no longer be true. :)

Just ask Al. He describes Vectra/Signum lights as 'shockingly bad'.

Why do you need floodlights to navigate then?  :P

Newer car, newer headlight design most likely squeezing as much light as possible out of the crappy halogen bulbs...or maybe its the glow from the radioactive snot green giving you such great luminosity ;D ;D

It seems I have no other option, Mr Tunnie.

I was hoping  the new super-duper nightbreakers would do the trick. :-\

Sadly, not. :-\

Yep...the lights on his 1.4L Astra are probably crap.

It's the whole snot green luminosity as he drives down the road that fools the old boy. ;D ;D ;D

Try a Calibra. The original studio viewing must have gone something like this: Boss -"Looks good but I bet it looks shit with the lights popped up, they always do" Designer -"'dangle berries', I knew we'd forgotten something! There must be something out there that will fit in the space." And there was, except it was made by Ever Ready and meant for kid's push bikes.

I was going to fit nightbreakers, rather than the HID route, given the faff of wiring, fitting the sensors (which then seem to fail a fair amount on high mileages) plus the costs of bulbs when they go.. but may rethink that, if they're really not doing much.  :-\

For the Omega, you might as well retrofit the factory set up given that the parts are readily available :y

The big issue with retrofitting to the Vec C/Signum is that very few facelifts had xenons from new...
